Flight of Imagination......

Imagine.... but can we imagine? Is our human imagination not limited to the boundaries of the knowledge we possess or whatever the imagination, it does not transgress the realms of our data stored in our brains....?

Sometimes we do feel that our imagination has crossed the limited set by any known phenomenon... but later dissection of the same  in an objective manner does show the limit to be within the known parameters....

So we lay down the rules for imagination;

1. Nothing contained in imagination is ultravires to the brain;
2. It just reprocesses the data available with it in the new manner;
3. It does not process the data in wholesome manner rather may pick up bits and pieces of various memories and form a completely new picture, which we term it as imagined......

Now the question is how does brain reprocess data? Are there unlimited ways of processing data? Or the ways of processing data are not exhaustively defined but dependent upon certain rules of the functioning?

If it is so then there must be certain basic principles of processing, what are those? do they lie in the realm of the know logic or they are still alien to us? How is the evolution of newer methods of data processing defined in the brain as we know that we are developed from a single cell and all the cells cannot contain all the information that we now process...

Is it like brain has some mechanism wherein it imports newer methods whenever it finds one? Can it happen that brain has an extra sensory mechanism which allows it to do so?

Or all this aboev that I have stated is nothing but flight of my imagination!!!!!!!!!!
